  Mining is scheduled to be completed no earlier than 2055   Alrosa's Investment Committee has approved an investment project to develop reserves at deep levels of the Udachnaya pipe, one of the world's largest diamond deposits. Implementation of this large-scale project will extend the mine's lifespan until at least 2055, with annual production exceeding 4 million tons of diamond-bearing ore. Investment is estimated at 20 billion rubles.    The project involves stripping and mining levels down to a depth of 1.13 km below the surface, reaching an absolute elevation of -780 m (the surface elevation is +355 m).   Under the IFRS Alrosa gains almost 11% net profit in the 1H    The net profit of Alrosa under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) gained almost 11% during the first six months of 2025 and totaled 40.6 bln rubles ($509.1 mln), the Russian diamond miner said in its report.    Revenues from sales plummeted 25% to 134.3 bln rubles ($1.7 bln). The pre-tax profit ticked up by 0.3% in the reporting period to 46 bln rubles ($576.8 mln). The raw diamonds estimate of the company contracted to 115.9 bln rubles ($1.45 bln) in money value.   Alrosa suspends diamond mining at Anabar valley in Yakutia    Alrosa suspends mining at the Verkhne-Munskoe deposit in Yakutia from June 15, the Russian diamond miner informed. The company already halted mining in placer deposits in the Anabar River valley in Yakutia from April 1.    Temporary suspension of mining in the deposits will be performed in the hot preservation mode, Alrosa said.   Alexey Moiseev confirmed that the Ministry had made a provision    Russia’s Finance Ministry is currently monitoring the trends of the diamonds market, planning to decide on acquisitions of diamonds from Alrosa to the State Precious Metals and Gems Repository (Gokhran) at the end of the second quarter, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev told domestic reporter. He confirmed the information that the Finance Ministry had made a provision for purchases of diamonds from Alrosa to Gokhran for 2025. The star of the show was a pink oval diamond weighing 14.83 carats - the largest pink diamond in the history of Russia.
