BIS certification process abridged
Government on EoDB spree at BIS! Ensure best Quality and Quantity of Products and services for the Indian consumers! With an aim to promote Ease of Doing Business (EoDB), the Government is going to facilitate simplification of process of compliances that are required to be completed for obtaining certification at Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). As a step towards that, first-of-its-kind workshop on Easing Compliance for Certifications is being organised tomorrow jointly by Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, along with the Department of Consumer Affairs and Bureau of Indian Standards. This workshop will facilitate closer interaction between various sectors of industry and the apex national standards body.
