GST revenues grew 18% YoY in February

Revenue collection stood at Rs 1,33,026 crore   The gross GST revenue collected in the month of February 2022 is Rs 1,33,026 crore of which CGST is Rs 24,435 crore, SGST is Rs 30,779 crore, IGST is Rs 67,471crore (including Rs 33,837 crore collected on import of goods) and cess is Rs 10,340 crore (including Rs 638 crore collected on import of goods).   The government has settled Rs 26,347 crore to CGST and Rs 21,909 crore to SGST from IGST. The total revenue of Centre and the States in the month of February 2022 after regular settlement is Rs 50,782 crore for CGST and Rs 52,688 crore for the SGST. The revenues for the month of February 2022 are 18% higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year and 26% higher than the GST revenues in February 2020. During the month, revenues from import of goods was 38% higher and the revenues from domestic transaction (including import of services) are 12% higher than the revenues from these sources during the same month last year.    Fe

The December 2020 revenues are 12% higher YoY This is the third time of collection over a Trillion!   The gross GST revenue collected in the month of December 2020 is Rs1,15,174 crore of which CGST is Rs 21,365 crore, SGST is Rs 27,804 crore, IGST is Rs 57,426 crore (including Rs 27,050 crore collected on import of goods) and Cess is Rs 8,579 crore (including Rs 971 crore collected on import of goods). The total number of GSTR-3B Returns filed for the month of November up to 31st December 2020 is 87 lakhs.   The government has settled Rs 23,276 crore to CGST and Rs 17,681 crore to SGST from IGST as regular settlement. The total revenue earned by Central Government and the State Governments after regular settlement in the month of December 2020 is Rs 44,641 crore for CGST and Rs 45,485 crore for the SGST.   September, 2020 GST collected of ` 95,480 crore!   The gross GST revenue collected in the month of September, 2020 is ` 95,480 crore of which CGST is ` 17,741 crore, SGST is ` 23,131 crore, IGST is ` 47,484 crore (including ` 22,442 crore collected on import of goods) and Cess is ` 7,124 crore (including ` 788 crore collected on import of goods). The government has settled  ` 21,260 crore to CGST and ` 16,997 crore to SGST from IGST as regular settlement. The total revenue earned by Central Government and the State Governments after regular settlement in the month of September, 2020 is ` 39,001 crore for CGST and ` 40,128 crore for the SGST.   The revenues for the month are 4% higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year. India collected GST Rs 1,00,289 crore May ’19 The total gross GST revenue collected in the month of May, 2019 is Rs 1,00,289 crore of which CGST is Rs 17,811 crore, SGST is Rs 24,462 crore, IGST is Rs 49,891 crore (including Rs 24,875 crore collected on imports) and Cess is Rs 8,125 crore (including Rs 953 crore collected on imports). Third occasion of GST Revenue crossed Rupee one trillion! The total gross GST revenue collected in the month of January, 2019 is Rs 1,02,503 crore of which CGST is Rs17,763crore, SGST is Rs 24,826 crore, IGST is Rs 51,225 crore (including Rs 24,065crore collected on imports) and Cess is Rs 8,690 crore (including Rs 902crore collected on imports). In FY 2018-2019, it is for the third time that GST Revenue collection has crossed One Lakh Crore. The total number of GSTR 3B Returns filed for the month of December up to 31stJanuary, 2019 is 73.3lakh.
