New high jewelry collection, Les Pétales!

  Mikimoto announced at Paris Haute Couture Week   Mikimoto unveiled its new high jewelry collection, Les Pétales at Hôtel d’Évreux during Paris Haute Couture Wee. Mikimoto is capturing the ephemeral beauty of rose petals fluttering in the breeze.    The Les Pétales collection expresses fleeting beauty through rose petals fluttering in the breeze. In a venue full of floral inspirations, numerous pieces were showcased as each dramatically and intricately captured the various expressions of flower petals. Revisiting the ice cube aesthetic!

  Inspired by the graphic shapes!   This project stemmed from Marion Cotillard's desire to extend her environmental and social concerns to the world of jewellery by Chopard. During a discussion with her friend Caroline Scheufele, she put forward her idea and asked her if Chopard could provide help from its workshops in fulfilling her goal.   This led to the birth of this collection, named Ice Cube Capsule by Marion Cotillard. The Co-President of the Maison left the artistic direction of the project entirely to the actress, while ensuring that Chopard provided the responsibly mined materials and the technical support of the artisans required to produce this enduringly radiant jewellery. Contemplate.  For her new Haute Joaillerie collection, Claire Choisne, Creative Director at Maison Boucheron, wanted to capture the intangible by showing the beauty of a fleeting nature and world.  “I had wanted to capture the ephemeral for a long time, to transcribe the poetry of present moments, the purity of the sky and the play of light. The art of jewelery consists in suspending time, in making eternal moments which, in essence, are not”.   Composed of sixty-seven pieces, this "Contemplation" forms the most personal, most intimate Haute Joaillerie ensemble ever created by Claire Choisne. Priyanka Chopra says, I Do with Platinum Priyanka Chopra, the multi-talented actress selected a Platinum wedding band from Chopard when she said “I Do” to Nick Jonas on December 1st during their Western wedding ceremony in Jodhpur, India. Priyanka's band comes from the Haute Joaillerie Collection, featuring 3.90-carats of Ashoka-cut diamonds with an east/west setting, in platinum.   Aside from her wedding band, Priyanka has also been spotted wearing platinum jewelry to the US Open on September 5th and to the Kate Spade Fashion Show in New York on September 7th. Going platinum seems to be an ongoing trend for this year.
