The 47th WorldSkills concludes at France’s 3rd largest stadium The 47th WorldSkills Competition came to a conclusion last night after a spectacular Closing Ceremony that took place at Lyon’s emblematic OL Stadium (Groupama Stadium), France’s 3rd largest stadium in terms of capacity. Medalists were announced for each skill, with Competitors stepping onto the podium to receive their awards in front of an enthusiastic and emotional crowd. The Ceremony was a fitting conclusion to an event that brought together exceptional young talents from around the world. India said, “India has made a remarkable mark on the global stage at WorldSkills 2024 in Lyon, France, by winning 4 prestigious Bronze medals in Patisserie and confectionery- Ashwitha Police, Industry 4.0- Dhrumilkumar Dhirendrakumar Gandhi and Sathyajith Balakrishnan, Hotel Reception- Joethir Adithya Krishnapriya Ravikumar, and Renewable Energy- Amaresh Kumar Sahu.
