Appoints Jimmy Gove with immediate effect   Leading diamond and gemstone security specialist, Opsydia, has announced the appointment of Jimmy Gove to the position of Sales and Marketing Director, effective immediately.   Gove brings to Opsydia more than a decade of experience and knowledge in the diamond, gemstone and jewellery industries. He most recently served as Digital Projects Manager at Bonas Group in London, the world’s largest independent diamond and gemstone tender/auction house.   Before this he spent almost eight years in Antwerp where he developed and managed the Group’s digital transformation strategy, as well as its tender/auction sales and analytics platform used by international mining companies and private sellers. At Bonas he also worked closely with large diamond and jewellery companies throughout the value chain in Europe, USA, UAE and India as a Senior Consultant and De Beers Broker. Opsydia unveiled new classifications f or its sub-surface identifiers   Features for LGD and Mined diamond trades   The UK-based diamond security innovator has moved to classify its world-leading sub-surface identifiers by visibility, resulting in ‘Nano’ and ‘Loupe’ ID features for the trade.    Leading diamond security specialist, Opsydia, has unveiled new classifications for its sub-surface identifiers, allowing diamond manufacturers, brands and grading houses to choose from a range of visibilities to suit their specific requirements.   Utilising the laser technology within the Opsydia System, users can choose from Nano ID features or Loupe ID features to create a permanent physical link between a specific stone and its grading report, blockchain record or branded jewellery origins.   Nano ID features do not affect the clarity grade of diamonds, even for flawless stones, and are not detectable with a standard grading microscope. Opsydia created its smallest  Sub-surface identifier   Identifier that doesn’t affect the  Clarity grade of flawless diamonds!  Leading diamond security specialist, Opsydia, has honed its sub-surface laser technology to create its smallest and faintest identifier to date, meaning even an internally flawless natural diamond can have a logo, serial number or encrypted code placed beneath its surface without affecting its clarity grade.   These nano-scale identifiers can be placed within a diamond to create a physical link between a specific stone and its grading report, blockchain record or branded jewellery origins.  They are not detectable with a standard grading microscope and must be read at >100x magnification or with an Opsydia ID viewer – a device capable of reading identifiers that is currently in the research and development phase.  The negligible impact of a nano-scale identifier on the clarity grade of internally flawless diamonds has been independently verified and c
