Alrosa June sales of rough and polished Diamonds reached $222 million Alrosa, the world’s largest diamond miner, announces diamond sales results for June and six months of 2019. In June, Alrosa Group sold $222.4 million worth of rough and polished diamonds. Rough diamond sales by value amounted to $219.3 million, polished diamond sales – $3.1 million.  Alrosa’s total rough and polished diamond sales in January-June 2019 amounted to $1,811 million. During the six months of 2019, rough diamonds were sold for $1,784 million, polished diamonds – for $27.3 million. “We keep implementing our balanced sales strategy amid the backdrop of persisting excess diamond stock both at the cutting and polishing (midstream) sector and at retailers, as well as challenges related to financing of Indian midstream business. Sales 20 polished diamonds with total weight of 140.4 carats for US$3mn Alrosa, a global leader in diamond mining, summed up the results of the tender for polished diamonds, which was held in New York this June. The company's cutting division - Diamonds of Alrosa organized the tender. The company sold 20 polished diamonds with total weight of 140.4 carats. That amount included 8 gemstones of standard color and 12 fancy colored polished diamonds, most of them had Fancy Yellow and Fancy Intense Yellow characteristics. The overall revenue amounted to $3 mln. There were 29 participants from several countries at the tender, and 11 firms were recognized as winners in different tender positions. “The polished diamond tender in New York was very successful, despite the traditionally quiet summer season and the falling market as a whole.  White and fancy polished diamonds were equally in good demand. Two regular productions from South Africa and Angola will again be presented. All materials contain a significant number of large single stones and exceptional specials and are of high quality and high colour. TAGS are expecting in the region of 30,000 carats of South African goods and 25,000 carats of Angolan goods across a full range of sizes. Tender rough bags more 76% over the previous! Diamcor Mining announces the results of a second tender and sale of rough diamonds for the Company’s fourth fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2019. The Company sold 1,220.23 carats of rough diamonds recovered from ongoing processing exercises performed at the Company’s Krone-Endora at Venetia Project, for gross proceeds of USD $375,907.72, resulting in an average sale price of USD $308.06 per carat. This represented a price increase of 76% as compared to the Company’s average price per carat of $176.16 realized on all rough diamonds tendered and sold to date. DDE total sales are up by 70% YoY DDE and Stargems Group hosts six tenders The Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE), a subsidiary of DMCC, the world’s flagship Free Zone and Dubai government authority on commodities trade and enterprise, in collaboration with Stargems Group, today announced the completion of six successful rough diamond tenders of SACIM goods (Anhui-Congo Mining Investment Company) with over 2 million carats sold. The tenders were held at the Almas Tower with around 200 diamond companies in attendance and were facilitated by the Dubai Diamond Exchange in a secure, transparent and regulated environment.   Earlier this year, DMCC signed a strategic partnership with Stargems, specialised in the sourcing and supply of fine diamonds, to host a series of rough diamond tenders.
