GJEPC organised IIJS Premiere’s Road Show

Bhopal road show draws 600 retailers, from 42 districts   The IIJS Premiere 2024 Road Show held in Bhopal on 23rd June showcased an array of features and benefits of the upcoming exhibition. Mansukh Kothari, Member, National Exhibitions Sub-committee, GJEPC, delivered a presentation that emphasised the new venue, digital platform, enhanced product quality and variety, and promising business opportunities for visitors. He encouraged retailers to register and attend the event in August.   Nitin Khandelwal, Deputy Director – Jaipur, GJEPC, followed with a presentation on the diverse services and initiatives offered by the GJEPC, including membership benefits, international exhibitions, and e-commerce opportunities.    The event was graced by Chief Guest Praveen Khandelwal, Member of Parliament from Delhi. Over 600 jewellery retailers from 42 districts of Madhya Pradesh participated, with strong support from the Jewellers Development Welfare Association.

  To run through 2nd to 5th April 2024   All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) announced on Friday that it is organising the 5th edition of its flagship event India Gems and Jewellery Show (GJS April 2024) from 2nd to 5th April 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. IGJS 2022: Reaffirming India’s position as jeweller to the world! 200 leading exhibitors will showcase their finest gems and jewellery to 600+ International buyers from 48 countries! The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) successfully kickstarted the IGJS 2022 in India’s colored gemstone capital, Jaipur today. It is the first ever gem and jewellery physical event hosted exclusively for international buyers in India to increase exports and to exemplify India’s strong hold on the G&J industry. India plays a prominent role in the global gem and jewellery industry with exports of nearly USD 40 billion annually. The Signature show will encourage refilling inventory   IIJS Signature 2022, the most-awaited jewellery event of the first half of the year, has been now rescheduled to be held from 18th – 21st February at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, NESCO will be inaugurated by Chief Guest, Piyush Goyal, MoC & I, CA & F & PD, Textiles- GoI in the presence of Guests of Honours- Parshottam Rupala, Dracaena Jardosh, Vipul Bansal, Jt Sec MoC.   The inaugural event will be hosted by Colin Shah, Chairman-GJEPC with Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman-GJEPC, Shailesh Sangani, Convener National Exhibitions- GJEPC & in the presence of CoA-GJEPC and amid invitees, industry fraternity & exhibitions!    The show was initially scheduled in first week of January 2022, but Council decided to postpone the show due to surge in Covid-19 cases at that point of time.
