Sells 100% of offered rough to 42 companies   Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) DMCC recently held a rough diamond tender in Dubai from the 17th to the 23rd November 2020. In the context TAGS issued a statement.   According to the TAGS, Owing to the impact of Covid-19 and the forced closures of factories for several months, the traditional Diwali holiday was dramatically reduced, with some factories only closing for around a week. We commenced our tender on the 17th November and concluded on 23rd November 2020.  Most factories are now producing, although not at full capacity. Several months of severely restricted supply by the leading producers, coupled with a better than expected recovery in China and the Far Eastern markets has led to a reduction in polished stocks and improved liquidity in the midstream.   Rough diamond tender held in Dubai   Trans-Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) DMCC recently held a rough diamond tender in Dubai from the 24th to the 31st August 2020. TAGS said, “After a difficult six months for everyone, both on a personal and professional level, we were delighted to welcome back our valued customers to Dubai between the 24th and 31st August 2020.”   This was the first tender to be held in the DDE, Almas Tower since the commencement of the pandemic and the working environment within the facility had been fully modified and equipped to ensure the safety of all participants during the event. “We presented our regular productions from South Africa, Angola and Namibia with a total value of approximately US$30 to 35m” said TAGS.   Despite the increased procedures required for travelling, we were pleased to welcome nearly 100 companies to Dubai to view the productions. “We are happy to report that we secured sales totalling approximately 90% by value of goods offered” TAGS

TAGS Auction to be held during 12th to the 19th February Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) will be holding a rough diamond tender from the 12th to the 19th February 2019 in the Almas Tower at the Dubai Diamond Exchange in Dubai. Two regular productions from South Africa and Angola will again be presented. Both materials are of high quality and high colour.  All interested parties are recommended to confirm their attendance promptly in order to ensure availability due to the high interest in the event and limited viewing appointments. TAGS are expecting in the region of 25,000 carats of South African goods and 30,000 carats of Angolan goods across a full range of sizes.  Final details will soon be forthcoming from the producers; however the event should have a combined value in excess of US$40m. Trans Atlantic Gem Sales will provide partner diamond producers with an independent online sales and marketing platform with viewing facilities. This operating model
