Average rough price per carat increased!

Diamcor achieves average USD $298.97 Per carat in February 2021 sale   Diamcor Mining announced the final results of the Company’s second tender and sale of rough diamonds recovered from the processing of quarry material since resuming operations as announced on January 25, 2021.   These results again demonstrate the potential for increased average dollar per carat values from the operational and processing refinements made by the Company.      The Company’s second tender and sale of rough diamonds held in Dubai UAE was completed during the first week of February 2021. A total of 2,028.33 carats of rough diamonds recovered from the processing of quarry material were tendered and sold, generating gross revenues of USD $606,415, resulting in an average price of USD $298.97 per carat. The tender and sale include two rough diamonds in the specials (+10.7 carats) category, 1: One 10.70 carat gem quality diamond typical of historical specials recovered & 2: One 14.16 carat gem qual

3,862 carats of Lulo diamonds sold

  A 51carat D-colour Type IIa stone included in the parcel Lucapa Diamond Company Limited and its partners Empresa Nacional de Diamantes E.P. (Endiama) and Rosas & Petalas are pleased to announce the results from the latest sale of diamonds from the Lulo alluvial diamond mine in Angola.   A total of 3,862 carats of Lulo diamonds sold for gross proceeds of US$5.6 million (A$7.9 million) on a 100% basis, representing an average price of US$1,450 (A$2,057)/ carat.  Total sales of Lulo year to date amounted to 16,128 carats for US$21.3 million (A$31.2 million) or US$1,323 (A$1,932)/ carat.   Lucapa Managing Director Stephen Wetherall commented: “As foreshadowed, the strong operational performance and record diamond recoveries at Lulo in July and August, together with a recovering diamond demand positively impacting prices, should bode well for Lulo in H2 2020.”

TAGS held first tender since Pandemic

  Rough diamond tender held in Dubai   Trans-Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) DMCC recently held a rough diamond tender in Dubai from the 24th to the 31st August 2020. TAGS said, “After a difficult six months for everyone, both on a personal and professional level, we were delighted to welcome back our valued customers to Dubai between the 24th and 31st August 2020.”   This was the first tender to be held in the DDE, Almas Tower since the commencement of the pandemic and the working environment within the facility had been fully modified and equipped to ensure the safety of all participants during the event. “We presented our regular productions from South Africa, Angola and Namibia with a total value of approximately US$30 to 35m” said TAGS.   Despite the increased procedures required for travelling, we were pleased to welcome nearly 100 companies to Dubai to view the productions. “We are happy to report that we secured sales totalling approximately 90% by value of goods offered” TAGS

At the digital tender taking place between May 15 and 29, 2020, the company offers over 800 rough diamonds from 5-10 carats batches. The offered volume is the largest Alrosa has ever put on a digital tender. The company provides detailed information on each diamond for remote evaluation. Clients logged to their personal online account get full digital scans of auctioned stones, including data on their external shape, inclusions, color, fluorescence, as well as photos.   For clients’ convenience, the company has significantly upgraded its trading system as well as online services. Tender to run up to The 19th June 2019 Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) will be holding a rough diamond tender in Dubai at the Dubai Diamond Exchange in the Almas Tower from the 12th June to the 19th June 2019. Two regular productions from South Africa and Angola will again be presented. All materials are of high quality and high colour and contain a significant number of large single stones and exceptional specials. TAGS are expecting in the region of 20,000 carats of South African goods and 10,000 carats of Angolan goods across a full range of sizes. The event should have a combined value in excess of US$30m; however final details will soon be forthcoming from the producers. TAGS tender sold over 41K cts

Average value per carat remained of US$ 927.87 Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) recently held a rough diamond tender in the Almas Tower at the Dubai Diamond Exchange in Dubai from the 26th March to the 2nd April 2019. Two regular productions from South Africa and Angola were again presented, including a Namibian production. All materials were of high quality and high colour and featured a significant number of large single stones and exceptional specials. According to TAGS, total tender sales of US$ 38,364,624.96 and over all 41,346.93 carats sold in total by acquiring average value per carat of US$ 927.87 only. Over all 204 companies participated in the tender process. It is to know, TAGS again presented their regular productions from South Africa and Angola which continue to be well received. Diamcor achieves US$273.45 per carat

Sales 1407.66 carats of rough Diamcor Mining announces the results of an initial tender and sale of rough diamonds for the Company’s fourth fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2019. The Company tendered and sold 1,407.66 carats of rough diamonds recovered from ongoing processing exercises performed at the Company’s Krone-Endora at Venetia Project, for gross proceeds of USD $384,928.86, resulting in an average price of USD $273.45 per carat for the rough diamonds tendered and sold. The tender included the sale of one gem quality rough diamond in the specials category (+10.8 carats), weighing 11.57 carats. An additionally about 1,858.92 carats of rough diamonds were also delivered prior to the end of January 2019, which included a gem quality 44.09 carat rough diamond, and a low quality 37.0 carat rough diamond.   These diamonds will be sold in a tender planned for later this month.        “We are pleased with the results of this tender and the sale price realized”, commente

Diamcor Q3 tender earns USD $158.60 per carat

Diamcor tendered over 2K yet sold 1905.07 carats Diamcor Mining announces the results of its final tender and sale of rough diamonds for the Company’s third fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2018.  The Company tendered 2,256.52 carats of rough diamonds recovered from resumed processing exercises at the Company’s Krone-Endora at Venetia Project, of which 1905.07 carats were sold for gross proceeds of USD $303,138.39, resulting in an average price of USD $158.60 per carat for the rough diamonds tendered and sold.  The balance of 351.45 carats will be tendered along with additional rough diamonds delivered by the Company in January of 2019.           With this final tender of the fiscal quarter complete, total rough diamonds tendered and sold during the Company’s third fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2018 will be 7,162.21 carats, for gross proceeds of USD $1,401,322.01, resulting in an average price of USD $195.66 per carat for the period.  This represents an incre
