Christie’s to hammer Magnificent Jewels

Auction on 29 November at Hong Kong! 

Christie’s Hong Kong announced its’ Magnificent Jewels-Hong Kong on 29 November and key focus is on Important ruby and diamond necklace, Faidee is estimated to raise about HKD 9,800,000 to HKD 15,000,000 and in US$ term at least 1,269,609 to 1,943,278.

The ruby and diamond necklace, Faidee is of thirty five oval shaped rubies, pear brilliant cut diamond of 2.17 and 1.30 carats, vari cut diamonds, gold, 44.3 cm, signed Faidee, black Faidee case with SSEF, 2020, report no. 113248: 35 rubies total 51.28 ct, Burma (Myanmar), no indications of heating. 

Appendix letter of Gübelin, 2019, report no. 19101019 also say, The ruby and diamond necklace, Faidee is made of 35 rubies total 51.28 ct, Burma (Myanmar), no indications of heating, a few pigeon blood red, GIA, 2014, report no. 2155840024: 2.17 carats, D colour, Flawless clarity, excellent polish and symmetry

GIA, 2014, report no. 2151981684: 1.30 carats, D colour, Internally Flawless clarity, Type IIa, excellent polish.
