In a groundbreaking initiative, the Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council's (GJEPC) MSME department, in collaboration with eBay and DHL, orchestrated a triumphant seminar at the vibrant Zaveri Bazaar, Mumbai. The event marked a significant milestone as it unfolded the vast e-commerce prospects within the gems and jewelry (GJ) sector, illuminating its pivotal role in the industry's trajectory.

Regional Director of Rajasthan, GJEPC, Nitin Khandelwal, spearheaded the
seminar by providing a comprehensive overview of e-commerce and its
indispensable role in shaping the future of the gem and jewelry trade.
eBay, a global e-commerce giant, took the stage to deliver a thorough presentation, underscoring its role as a pivotal platform connecting businesses with a staggering presence in over 190 countries.
The presentation highlighted eBay's commitment to facilitating businesses through dedicated account management, robust support teams, and comprehensive assistance in account setup, product listings, marketing, and global promotion.
DHL, a renowned logistics powerhouse, also shared valuable insights into its capabilities in supporting e-commerce logistics. The audience gained a glimpse into DHL's proficiency in ensuring seamless logistical support for businesses venturing into the realm of online trade.
The GJEPC International Event department seized the opportunity to showcase various international shows and introduce the India Pavilion, providing a global platform for participants to exhibit their gem and jewelry products. Kalidas, representing small manufacturers, advocated for additional seminars and workshops to further support members in on boarding eBay and DHL.

Pandey, Head of MSME Dept., reassured the audience of the council's commitment
to organizing similar events in the future. He delved into the intricacies of
the IC scheme, facilitating participation in international exhibitions, and
shed light on GJEPC initiatives for its members in Dubai. Attendees also
received valuable information about the PM Vishwakarma Yojana and its
associated benefits.
