The event brought together over 5,779 health enthusiasts, showcasing HK’s commitment to promoting fitness, community spirit, and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The marathon began with an electrifying Zumba warm-up session, creating an energetic and vibrant start to the day. Families and participants from across Maharashtra, including many from the gem and jewellery industry, gathered to celebrate health and unity. The event catered to runners of all skill levels, featuring three race categories: 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km. The marathon flagged off at 5:30 AM, providing a fulfilling experience for all attendees.

Distinguished guests, including Rajeev Jalota, Chairman of Mumbai Port Authority, R.K. Dwivedy, Commissioner CGST-Nasik, and prominent leaders from the banking and gem and jewellery sectors, graced the occasion. Their presence underscored the significance of the event and the industry’s collective commitment to societal well-being.

Aligned with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, the Hari Krishna Charitable Trust allocated funds raised through entry fees to support cleanliness and hygiene initiatives across India. This effort highlights HK’s unwavering commitment to fostering a cleaner, healthier nation while inspiring individuals to prioritize their fitness and environmental responsibilities.

Speaking at the event, Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director of Kisna Diamond and Jewellery, shared an inspiring message: “The Kisna Diamond Marathon isn’t just about challenging your limits; it’s about taking a stand for a healthier, cleaner India. Like our visionary Prime Minister, who maintains his fitness through daily yoga, we, too, must embrace the dual responsibility of caring for our health and the environment.”

Padma Savjibhai Dholakia, Founder & Chairman, Hari Krishna Group, added: “This is a movement. It is heartening to see such an enthusiastic turnout year after year. This event promotes beyond just fitness; it also fosters a spirit of giving back to society. We are proud to support Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and will continue to work toward such noble causes.”

Participants were rewarded with medals and enjoyed energizing refreshments, including breakfast, water, and energy drinks, ensuring their comfort throughout the event. Winners were celebrated with prestigious Kisna Diamond Jewellery and cash prizes worth INR 5 lakhs, adding grandeur to their achievements.

As one of India’s premier marathons, the Kisna Diamond Marathon continues to inspire individuals to prioritize health, unite for community causes, and champion the vision of a Swachh Bharat.
