GJEPC concludes 2nd SEZ GJ Conclave

 

The successful conclave is the need of the hour! 

Update 1: The second SEZ Gem and Jewellery (GJ) Conclave that started as scheduled on March 12, with a grand glorious note at Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC in SEEPZ, Andheri. The event is graced by Chief Guest Dr P Anbalagan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries, Government of Maharashtra. 

GJEPC leadership, including Kirit Bhansali, Chairman; Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman; Suvankar Sen, MD, Senco Gold & Diamonds, Adil Kotwal, Core working Group, Colin Shah, Core Working Committee, Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC are present along with other dignitaries from the gem and jewellery industry.

At the Second edition of SEZ GJ Conclave, Chairman Kirit Bhansali, welcome the fraternity and delivered the welcome note. Kirit Bhansali also highlighted Laboratory Grown Diamonds (LGDs). 

He remarked, India is the center for developing CVD. He insisted on Perfection. He said, Perfection is the key for the development; Upgrade, Promote & Compete is the key to grow! He also revealed the SEEPZ future target by 2030.  

Chief Guest Dr P Anbalagan reaffirmed that Within a 4 to 5 years India will reach to US$ 1 trillion economy! Talking about the State of Maharashtra, he said; export from the port of Maharashtra that share 40% of the total GJ Exports of India. By focusing on India Jewellery Park-IJP Mumbai, he shared intelligence & update. He said, “Once that will be an operative the India Jewellery Park Mumbai, will witness the turnover of Rs five million.” Under the MAITRY Scheme Maharashtra State is going to bring all those departments under one roof and making formation process at ease.  

Every session remained impressive & knowledge worthy. Attendee fraternity said such conclave is the need of the time!
