Bharat eye to attain third largest global economy stature

Upon returning from the Summer Leave to the passionate Edit Desk- the exclusive desk for Gem & Jewellery [GJ] industry and trade. In the meantime, many notable shifts happened! Bharat faced, fight and foray the related hassles and hurdles in the boulevard to attain the economic growth & development by ensuring hassle free trade & commerce! 

I suggest this action & initiatives is the result of prudent & determined political will of the Government of Bharat led by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister-Bharat! History of Bharat is recording him on the Golden Page! 

Pakistan has waged a war against Bharat through terrorism since 1947, causing a thousand cuts! Always Pakistan deceived Bharat. Pakistan ruined out all those attempts for peace & growth of both of the nations. Pakistan became the global hub for terrorism over the years, and they house domestic & global terrorists. 

Now it is proved that it’s their national policy to bleed Bharat into thousand cuts! Even after several warnings, Pak mis-understood and analysed wrongly and they challenged a wrong leader by continuing terrorism on the soil of Bharat. Now, it is certain that Pakistan has only way to dissolve immediately their national policy& Idea of bleeding Bharat with thousand cuts!  

Over years, bureaucrats of any nation became the hidden power centers and they may have their vested interest and or their policy. Such bureaucrats well understand the ruling political party, leader & their pro-cons. In general, their presentation that guide the leader of the state to speak, announce & adopt the policy as they directed.  

In the case, if leader is not determined or updated with the latest policy & relationship with various nations, may mislead the leader is possible. Here is the President Donald Trump, likely he was not briefed about Bharat-Pakistan policy & the issues!  

I think, he was not aware that there is no room for any third party in the globe, if issue is on Bharat-Pakistan. Without considering the latest stature & positions, he referred both of the nations in a one single breath! I suggest, any accountable leader should make any statement if one is updated indeed!  

Amid several global uncertainties, Successfully Bharat attained the stature of being the fourth largest global economy! Initially, the target to attain the stature of third largest economy was understood by 2030. Yet, by considering the pace & passion of Bharat and resilience, many players suggest that Bharat will attain the stature by 1H 2027. Let’s extend our contribution well! Reaching now to our exclusive GJ trade & industry India. De facto, the policy of GJ Industry & trade remained to consider, Nation first then business & commerce. Time to time the industry has contributed generously since independence moments. Continued the policy even after the independence. There are several platforms in the industry to contribute our nation including GJNRF, the collective initiatives of the GJ industry & trade, organized by GJEPC.

India kept Check & balances on Gem & Jewellery Import

  Global scenarios have impacted India’s GJ exports 2024-2025   India’s overall gross exports of Gem & Jewellery (GJ) remained at US$ 2582.97 million (Rs. 22340.89 crores) in the month of March 2025 is showing a growth of 1.02% (5.24% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 2556.97 million (Rs. 21228.71 crores) for the same period previous year.   The overall gross imports of Gems & Jewellery in India registered at US$ 1939.30 million (Rs. 16783.49 crores) in month of March 2025 is showing a decline of 7.20% (-3.26% in Rs. term) as compared to US$ 2089.76 million (Rs. 17349.51 crores) for the same period previous year. Looking at the whole year’s activities for the period of April 2024 to March 2025, overall gross exports of Gems & Jewellery-India at US$ 28500.08 million (Rs. 241089.50 crores) is showing a decline of 11.72% (-9.82% in Rs term) as compared to US$ 32283.05 million (Rs. 267350.83 crores) for the same period previous year.    Equally, at...
