GJEPC hosts two-day Exporter-GCC designers' workshop
SAJEX scheduled to be held from 11th to 13th September 2025 in KSA
Update 1: The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council
(GJEPC), in association with the World Academy of Design, is organizing a
two-day Exporter–GCC Designers’ Workshop on the 17th and 18th of July, 2025, at
the state-of-the-art Bharatratnam Mega CFC in Mumbai. GJEPC said, exporter- GCC
designers’ workshop began on a splendid note!
Gracing the occasion are
distinguished industry leaders, including Milan Chokshi, Chairman of IIGJ
Mumbai; Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC; Tarun Jain, Founder &
Managing Director, World Academy of Design; and Mahima Verma, Founder & CEO,
World Academy of Design.
The workshop features six
prominent designers from the GCC region, 1: Nadiyah Ghurmullah Alghamdi, 2: Nouf
Abdulaziz Sehli, 3: Haifa Khaled Saeed Gathnan Alhadhrami, 4: Fahima Saif
Rashed Bakhit Alfalasi, 5: Abeer Hussein Othman Yahya, and 6: Fatimah Mohammed
A Alsofi—who have flown in to collaborate with select Indian exporters.
This initiative aims to
explore emerging jewellery design trends in Saudi Arabia and neighboring
regions, while offering deep market insights and fostering valuable
cross-border partnerships.
This exclusive workshop is
a strategic GJEPC initiative designed to equip Indian jewellery manufacturers
and exporters with the latest design and market intelligence, enabling them to
align their offerings with the preferences of the GCC market. It also serves as
a preparatory platform for the upcoming SAJEX
(Saudi Jewellery Expo),
scheduled to be held from 11th
to 13th September 2025 in Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia.
