Update 1: The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) marked a significant milestone as it successfully hosted the 10th edition of its flagship CSR initiative, Jewellers for Hope, at the I Lotus Ballroom, Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC), Mumbai. The glittering evening was made even more memorable with the presence of the iconic actor, film producer, and fitness ambassador, Anil Kapoor, who graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

Renowned Indian actor and film producer Anil Kapoor brought unmatched energy and star presence to Jewellers for Hope, GJEPC’s philanthropic initiative.

From the moment he stepped onto the stage, his infectious charm and dynamic spirit captivated the audience, turning the evening into an unforgettable celebration. With guests singing and dancing alongside him, the night unfolded as a perfect blend of entertainment and heartfelt purpose.

Held at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre, the charity dinner united esteemed personalities from the gem and jewellery industry in support of a meaningful cause. The proceeds from this glittering evening will support the RK HIV & AIDS Research and Care Centre. With warmth, generosity, and joyous moments shared throughout, the event was a shining example of the industry's commitment to giving back.

Jewellers for Hope, an initiative that has stood as a testament to the industry’s commitment to social responsibility, once again lived up to its vision of giving back to society. Organised as an exclusive, invite-only affair, the event witnessed an illustrious gathering of industry stalwarts, dignitaries, and influential names from the gem and jewellery sector, all uniting for a cause beyond commerce.

This year’s edition aimed to raise about ₹75,00,000 (₹7.5 million) through a carefully curated charity auction. With spirited participation and generous bidding, the auction not only met but surpassed the fundraising target, underscoring the collective commitment of the industry towards impactful philanthropy. The funds raised will be channelled towards carefully selected social initiatives through partner NGOs.

The event was elevated by the trusted partnership of renowned global names. De Beers Group came on board as the Event Partner, with the World Gold Council supporting as Event Associated Partner. GIA powered the event, while HRD Antwerp extended their support as Co-Partner, making the 10th edition a truly collaborative effort across leading organisations.

Over the past decade, Jewellers for Hope has evolved into more than just a fundraising platform — it has become a symbol of the Indian gem and jewellery industry’s heart and conscience. From supporting education and healthcare to women empowerment and rural development, the initiative has touched thousands of lives across the country.

As the evening drew to a close, the atmosphere brimmed with warmth, purpose, and pride. The 10th edition not only celebrated the achievements of the past but also renewed the industry’s pledge to contribute meaningfully to the society it thrives in. With a powerful mix of elegance, empathy, and enterprise, Jewellers for Hope continues to shine as a beacon of hope — proving that when the industry comes together, it creates brilliance far beyond the sparkle of gemstones.
