Jewelry designer Sangeeta Boochra, known for her bespoke fine jewelry pieces, has unveiled a new store in Bengaluru. Global Jewellery Brand Sangeeta Boochra - known for being one of the oldest silver jewelry brand is set up in 1897 by Seth Kistoor Chand Boochra as a silver manufacturing unit. The business grew into a jewellery brand when it was taken up his son Lalit Kumar Boochra in 1961, with multiple labels under its umbrella. With 40 stores across India and around the world, the aesthetic of the brand is a clever balance between ethnic and contemporary designs. The brand manufactures and retails Traditional, Tribal, Contemporary jewellery studded with Precious and Semi-precious gemstones, made in pure sterling silver since 1897.
