The 47th WorldSkills concludes at France’s 3rd largest stadium   The 47th WorldSkills Competition came to a conclusion last night after a spectacular Closing Ceremony that took place at Lyon’s emblematic OL Stadium (Groupama Stadium), France’s 3rd largest stadium in terms of capacity.   Medalists were announced for each skill, with Competitors stepping onto the podium to receive their awards in front of an enthusiastic and emotional crowd. The Ceremony was a fitting conclusion to an event that brought together exceptional young talents from around the world.   India said, “India has made a remarkable mark on the global stage at WorldSkills 2024 in Lyon, France, by winning 4 prestigious Bronze medals in Patisserie and confectionery- Ashwitha Police, Industry 4.0- Dhrumilkumar Dhirendrakumar Gandhi and Sathyajith Balakrishnan, Hotel Reception- Joethir Adithya Krishnapriya Ravikumar, and Renewable Energy- Amaresh Kumar Sahu.  In addition, the Indian delegation earned 12 Medall

France symbolizing building blocks of our world-skills!  Where there is a Skill, there is a way!   The Competitors from over 65 countries and regions training for the 47th WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, France, can now get a glimpse of the medals that will be presented to the best skilled talent in the world this September.    The centre of the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 medal design is a hexagon building block, reflecting the WorldSkills movement’s belief that skills are the building blocks of life.    Lyon is represented by its emblematic Place Bellecour, Europe’s largest pedestrian square. The medals feature a majestic big wheel – the city’s iconic attraction – along with a silhouette of Louis XIV, the Sun King, whose statue can also be found in the heart of the square.
