Gattle Diamond Bracelet of 4.79 carats, I color, VVS2 clarity!     Sotheby’s offers Important Jewels on 22 October 2020, New York with accompanied by GIA report no. 2191816449 dated November 5, 2018 stating that the diamond weighing 4.79 carats is I color, VVS2 clarity. Jewel of geometric design, centering an emerald-cut diamond, set with numerous old European-cut, half-moon-shaped and baguette diamonds, decorated with calibré-cut emeralds, length 7½ inches, signed Gattle; circa 1935. For almost fifty years, E. M. Gattle & Co. created beautiful diamond jewelry that rivalled the best American houses in the first decades of the 20th century including Tiffany & Co., Marcus & Co., Theodore B. Starr, Dreicer & Co. and Raymond C.
