Heritage Concession granted to Vast   Marange Diamond Fields Grant of Heritage Concession Botswana Diamonds advised that their partner in the development of the diamond potential of Zimbabwe, Vast Resources plc have advised that the Chiadzwa Community Development Trust has in principle been granted the right to mine diamonds in joint venture on the Heritage Concession at Block T1A of the Marange Diamond Fields and has appointed Vast as its joint venture partner in the exploration and mining of diamonds in the area. In May 2018 Botswana Diamonds signed a MoU with Vast. In terms of the MoU, the two companies would be exchanging past exploration information and forming a special purpose vehicle to jointly develop the diamond potential of Zimbabwe. The initial focus of this agreement is on the Marange Diamond Fields of eastern Zimbabwe. Development of Marange diamond fields

BoD and Vast agreed development of concessions in Zimbabwe! Botswana Diamonds (BoD) has concluded an agreement with Vast Resources for the development of their concessions in the prolific Marange Diamond Fields (MDF) of eastern Zimbabwe.  A separate agreement will cover the joint development of diamond properties outside of the MDF, which will be a straightforward 50/50 joint venture, though the initial focus of our joint work is on the MDF.   As previously announced, Vast has exclusive access to key diamond concessions (the ‘Heritage Concession’) in the MDF of the Chiadzwa region of eastern Zimbabwe, through an agreement with a community organisation.  BOD will perform due diligence on the area to conclude a joint venture agreement for diamond exploration, mining and marketing.
