UAE Africa Gold Convention at latch

DGCX-IBMC UAE Africa Gold Convention 2019, is a high level International event attended by Diplomats, Ministers, top Industry Leaders from  gold mines, refineries, jewelers, traders, import export companies from UAE and Africa is to be held on January 08, 2019 at, Armani, Burj Khalifa, Dubai, organised by DGCX & IBMC. 

The primary objective of the event is to showcase the entire gamut of Gold trade and business activities in UAE and explore potential opportunities available to Gold businesses based in the continent of Africa and UAE. With greater focus on diversification of the business in the country and the region, the gold industry will have a greater role to play in the non-oil business in the UAE.

This initiative will provide even greater support to African Gold mines, exporters and traders to explore UAE business and trade opportunities. With expected industry-wide participation, the conference is expected to act as a catalyst to trigger discussion on potential Joint ventures opportunities.

Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) is a subsidiary of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a strategic initiative of the Government of Dubai, with a mandate to enhance commodity trade flows through the Emirate by providing the appropriate physical, market, financial infrastructure and services required.

IBMC International DMCC (IBMC) is based at Dubai and associated with DGCX. IBMC has won 2018 Dubai Chamber of Commerce CSR Label award and shortlisted company for United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pioneers award 2018 under the leadership of H.E. Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al Hamed, Chairman of IBMC UAE.
