Atelier Swarovski partnered fashion talents

Time for glamorous jewelry

Fashion and jewelry have always been closely intertwined, evolving side by side and influencing each other with their respective trends and creative voices. Since its inception in 2007, Atelier Swarovski has partnered with the most sought-after fashion talents of their time to produce glamorous jewelry collections that mirror their unique and brilliant ready-to-wear aesthetics.

In Swarovski’s history, fashion has always been instrumental in showcasing its crystals but the desire to perfectly combine fashion and jewelry takes its true origins in Runway Rocks, a project launched in 2003 by Nadja Swarovski to push the limits of jewelry design and bring its extravagance to the catwalk with the help of show-stopping Swarovski stones.

When Atelier Swarovski was launched in 2007 to continue demonstrating the endless possibilities of crystal, the passion for fashion collaboration only increased. For more than ten years, dozens of designers have used their inventive virtuosity and eye for details to create captivating collections that are still on-trend today.

Here is Nostalgia by Mary Katrantzou, Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou created her first collection for Atelier Swarovski in 2011 yet it was perhaps in her SS18 Nostalgia collection that her remarkable creativity shone brightest.

As with her playful use of crystals in her ready-to-wear collections, Katrantzou continued to break boundaries with an innovative 13-piece jewelry range which accentuated the brilliance of loose colored crystals and Swarovski Crystal Pearls encased within high-shine rose and yellow gold-plated geometric frames.

The collection was presented on the runway during the designer’s Spring/Summer 2018 show at London Fashion Week where dresses and shoes featuring over 100,000 crystals complimented the Atelier Swarovski pieces. What a glory!
