DOXA shows a presence in India
DOXA Watches maintains dynamic expansion
strategy!
Opening up new and very promising
markets for the SUB
Encouraged by the brand's strong results since the beginning of the year and the successfully re-launch of the SUB concept the year before, DOXA Watches continues to re-deploy the brand internationally.
Following
the US, the UK, Australia and Europe, DOXA Watches is now establishing a
presence in India with a partner of choice: ETHOS Watches, the country’s
leading agent for high-end Swiss watch brands, including sports watches and
diver's watches.
With a deep and broad knowledge of the local market, ETHOS Watches demonstrates impressive distribution and sales power in this dynamic market. DOXA is starting with two strategic points of sale before deploying throughout the country.
Another market opening this month is Norway, a country with a strong maritime tradition, with customers who are very knowledgeable in terms of robust watches, both for sports and diving. DOXA Watches is partnering with well-established agent SWISS TIME, leveraging their strong local expertise to develop this very promising market for the Swiss brand.
DOXA is also strengthening its presence in Eastern European markets that are already well familiar with the brand. The SUB concept will now be available in Romania, where DOXA Watches will be working with B&B Collection, the country's leading retailer. In Bulgaria, the Swiss brand is partnering with Giulian Watches and Jewellery, a leading retailer of the major high-end Swiss watch brands in this market.
With
all these important milestones in recent history, it is worth remembering that
DOXA Watches, founded in 1889, was the first brand to launch the first
professional diver's watch for the general public in 1967, with the legendary
SUB 300. Based in Biel in the canton of Bern in Switzerland, DOXA Watches is
owned by the Swiss Jenny family. The general management of DOXA Watches is
under the responsibility of Jan Edöcs, CEO of DOXA Watches.
