IIGJ announces tie-up with Orra!

OGRTS commenced to train & employ 100 students 

Indian Institute of Gem and Jewellery (IIGJ) Mumbai collaborated with Orra and started an intensive twelve day, Orra Graduate Retail Trainee Scheme (OGRTS), training program. Orra plans to train more than 100 graduates to take up positions in their new retail outlets all over the country. 

The objective of the Retail Sales training is to develop a team of young competent fresher’s from college to manage store operations and equip them with skills that would make them efficient and competent individuals and take on the roles of Retail sales Associates at Orra stores across India.

At the IIGJ & Orra collaboration event for OGRTS, Mr. Dipu Mehta, Managing Director-Orra Ltd remained present as a Chief Guest of the event in the presence of Guest of honor Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director GJEPC, Former Chairman GJEPC & Board of Directors of IIGJ - Mr. Sanjay Kothari, Mr. Cecil De Santa Maria, The Chief Operating Officer of Orra, Mr. Sudhir Sohoni, Advisor Organisation Development and Head of the Institute Mr. Sanjoy Ghosh. 

IIGJ is the known Industry Institute and that trains students’ with competitive skill and employable education. In the context Orra presented their brief and explained the scope of the OGRTS. India has a great scope not only within a country but also a great scope in the area of the globe! 

The collaboration is all about to employ IIGJ skills at Orra to manage their future goals and aspirations and IIGJ assures continuous support from IIGJ, Mumbai for all Orra ORGTS programs in the future. This is win-win collaboration!
