NDC returns to FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week

Natural diamonds to create special moments!

Cutting-edge fashion and stunning natural diamond jewellery are a match made in heaven! The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) returned to the FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week & partner with RimZim Dadu, a brand that resonates with textile innovation and surface exploration.

Centred on the theme of “A Sea of Million Stories”, the set featured a design collection that celebrates personal stories with natural diamonds to create special moments like no other. Distinctive and timeless, natural diamonds are an integral part of slow fashion.

With new-age craftsmanship, the NDC showcased the intricate romance of special moments adorned with memorable stories that seamlessly complement RimZim Dadu’s design philosophy.

The designer’s signature cord technique in re-engineered material, re-imagined cocktail dressing & created fluid yet structured forms. Paired with exquisite natural diamond jewellery the set seamlessly blend panache with slow fashion and a sustainable lifestyle.

This collection taken inspiration from natural elements around us, the ripples and waves in the sea, the texture of a riverbed, the tropics and the ever-changing skies.

“The allure of natural diamonds can enhance your personal style statement and imbibe the true spirit of authenticity.  It is exciting to collaborate with a designer as talented as RimZim Dadu whose eclectic designs have an understated elegance and formidable finesse that are timeless and always in trend. Together we will showcase the versatility that slow fashion possesses and bring together a look that will celebrate your stories and unique moments.

Interspersed with new age diamond cuts and jewellery designs that will be a part of the latest trend report by Natural Diamond Council, our set at the FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week with RimZim will tell a million stories of love and the eternal beauty of memories.” said Richa Singh, Managing Director, Natural Diamond Council, India and the Middle East; ahead of the event.

Clean cuts, sharp silhouettes & molten metallics will come together to form a range of exclusive women and menswear cocktail designs. With hints of metallic blues & emeralds combined with sparkly silvers and pristine whites - the collection will embody rich hues and modern sculpted forms: the ultimate combination of contemporary and luxury ready to wear.

Complementing this prêt wear collection would be a unique amalgamation of intricate stories of love and celebratory moments with the enduring sparkle and ageless beauty of modern, elegant natural diamond jewellery.

Designer RimZim Dadu said, “It’s thrilling to be back doing physical shows after 2 years. Nothing can compare to the adrenaline of putting a real runway show.

This season I am showcasing in collaboration with the Natural Diamond council for FDCI X Lakmé Fashion week. It’s a very interesting collaboration for us, as this gives us an opportunity to showcase diamond jewellery beyond just regular wedding wear when paired with our signature modern sculpted collection
