Lucapa
Diamond and Leopold Diamond provides update from the Brooking diamond project in
Western Australia’s West Kimberley lamproite province in under the new
exploration program since October last year. Brooking
project followed up on the significant micro- and macro-diamond counts in Q4
2018.
The
first two holes drilled at the Little Spring Creek diamond discovery and
recovered 119 micro and macro diamonds. In another follow up recovery reached
to about of 1,100 micro and macro diamonds. A
total of 11 diamonds weighing 0.284 carats were recovered from the processing.
Two micro diamonds and high levels of chromites were recovered. For all those
reasons, Lucapa believes the Brooking project remains prospective for
diamondiferous lamproite discoveries.
