The India SAARC - Middle East tie represents a  huge business opportunity for the Indian gem and jewellery businesses, particularly as the jewellery consumers in the Middle East and South Asia have similar preferences and tastes for jewellery as those in India. Hence, there is an immense potential for trade between the regions.

In the last few years, the GJEPC has been making strenuous efforts to strengthen its bilateral trade relationship with the Middle East region and various South Asian countries, which was reflected in the buyer attendance from these countries in the GJEPC’s key shows like the IIJS and IIJS Signature.
