International
Jewellery London (IJL), long-established and world-leading jewellery trade
event, has opened its seminar programme – The IJL Inspire Seminar Programme –
to submissions from industry professionals. Submit your event for IJL website.
Last
year the refreshed IJL Inspire Seminar Programme opened the stage to discuss
issues that matter and trends that shape jewellery and watches; from 3D
printing with precious metals to lab-grown diamonds, to gemology and human
rights in the jewellery supply chain, current trends such as SS19; co-created
and bespoke jewellery; bridal trends; jewellery retail and practical sessions
including transforming the high street store, customers in a digital world,
getting to grips with Instagram, photographing jewellery.
The
seminars will take place in theatres across the show floor: the Inspiration
Theatre sponsored by Fairtrade Foundation, the Retail Theatre and the Catwalk
Theatre. IJL welcome submissions from everyone across the jewellery industry;
from emerging design talents to established brands, with retailers, buyers,
designers, gem dealers, Assay offices and suppliers. All industry professionals
are encouraged to take part.
The
seminar submission form will be accessible via the IJL website until the
deadline for submissions on the Thursday 27 June. IJL will consider submissions
and let people know if they’ve been successful by the end of June.
