Christie’s Jewels Online: Summer Sparkle

Auction totals $1.49 million! 

Results announced at Christie’s curated online sale Jewels Online: Summer Sparkle totaled $ $1,492,625 with 84% sold by lot. Additionally, the sale attracted 28% new registrants from over 20 countries.

This was Christie’s first online-only auction dedicated to the world’s most sought-after gemstone the diamond. 

The top lot of the sale was a spectacular jewel by Graff, suspending a 20.21 carat pear shaped yellow-brown diamond, set in a fine white diamond necklace, which sold for $325,000. 

Other highlights included old mine brilliant-cut diamond ring of 12.02 carats, which realized $118,750; diamond ring of 4.80 carats that sold for $87,500; and a fancy yellow diamond ring of 8.16 carats, which achieved $81,250.
